Renowned vaginaplasty surgeon Dr. Mark Scheinberg recently returned from Colombia, South America, where he was requested to speak at a medical symposium.
Dr. Scheinberg is a Diplomat for the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and specializes in labiaplasty and vaginal rejuvenation.
Ethical practices in cosmetic-plastic gynecology and avoiding deception with patients were leading topics of discussion during his presentation.
New cosmetic procedures for gynecology were presented by Dr. Scheinberg, who was invited into surgery to demonstrate these advanced techniques as a vaginoplasty specialist.
The two-day symposium took place Feb. 24-25 and was organized by the International Consultants in Aesthetic Medicine (ICAM-USA).
Founded by Dr. Gustavo H. Leibaschoff, ICAM-USA has endeavored to educate and train physicians in various fields of cosmetic medicine and surgery around the world.
“It was an honor to help educate fellow surgeons on how they can create safer and more aesthetic results for their patients,” says Dr. Scheinberg. “This goal is the sole purpose of these events and why we participate.”
Dr. Scheinberg is a member of an exclusive research team of cosmetic-plastic gynecologic surgeons headed by Professor Adam Ostrzenski who has pioneered several advanced procedures in vaginal restoration and rejuvenation.
Prof. Ostrzenski and his team have campaigned to create awareness of deceptive and unethical practices in laser vaginal rejuvenation and continue to educate physicians on how to avoid deception.
The team was awarded a plenary session at the 15th World Congress on Controversies in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Infertility in China, where cosmetic-plastic gynecology was presented as a subcategory of general gynecology practices.
